I started this project because I wanted to learn how to do cloth simulations in Marvelous Designer. So what better way to show-off those sexy cloth-sims, then with some funky dance moves.
This was my workflow: I started with designing a very simple and playful character as a base for the simulations. Then I used dance animations from Mixamo, so I could mainly focus my time on designing and simulating clothing in Marvelous. Then I got out my digital needle and thread to design some fun outfits for each dance in Marvelous and gave it all some nice detail in Substance Painter. Lastly I put everything together in c4d and octane to make it look beautiful.
